【マクラーレン・ホンダ】欠場のアロンソ「最後まで頑張ったけど・・・」

既報のとおり、フェルナンド・アロンソ（マクラーレン・ホンダ）はバーレーンGPを欠場することになった。

決定後、アロンソはツイッターへスペイン語で次のように投稿している。
「僕はオーストラリアGPの事故の後、バーレーンGPで走行するために最後の最後までトライしたんだけど...」

リンク先のインスタグラムでは下記のような写真とともに思いを語っている。
「この（写真の）ような衝撃の後、論理的なハードな日々を過ごしてきた。僕は今週、チームが信じられないほどの仕事をこなしてくれたことに報いるために、最後の最後まで、チームを助けるためにレースしようと頑張ってきた。

僕はFIA専属医師の役割（判断）を受け入れた。今は、今週末に最大の結果を得るためにチームメートのストフェル・バンドーンをサポートするよ」
